Cricket enthusiasts at MSU have come together to form MSU Cricket Club (MSUCC). MSUCC was established in Oct 2002 and since then it has been a college cricketing super power in the South East of United States. The club is a non-profit, non-political sports organization found to promote the game of cricket in all its glory at MSU. MSU Cricket Club with the support from Mississippi State University has made all efforts to continue to provide the necessary infrastructure for the game of cricket.
The club has/had members from India, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia, England and United States. MSUCC organizes several home and away tournaments including the biggest college cricket tournament in the United States – Bulldog Championship Trophy. Home tournaments are organized both as day games and during night using flood lights. The club also organizes cricket tournaments for MSU students and faculty, and cricket clinic as part of the community outreach program to develop awareness of cricket in the US and to reach out to fellow domestic students and faculty.
MSU cricket team composed of international students with best cricketing skills from various cricket playing nations. The team has traveled to other colleges in the South-east US states such as Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and also with in Mississippi to participate in away cricket tournaments.

MSU has several funding opportunities such as scholarships for undergraduate students and assisstantships for Graduate students. If you are interested in applying for universities abroad you should start preparing for TOEFL/IELTS (English Foreign Language course) because that’s the minimum requirement for any university abroad.
