Student
Organizations at MSU

MSU is home to more than 300 student
organizations. The Student Association allows you to
experience politics, while Blackfriars Drama Society nurtures the
thespian in you. The Famous Maroon Band is only one of several
groups making beautiful music on campus; another is Black Voices a
group that inspires through spirituals. Student disc jockeys learn
the broadcasting ropes on our award winning radio station
WMSV-FM. MSU's
award-winning newspaper, The Reflector, and The Reveille (the
yearbook) provide outlets for creative students.
International
Student Organizations:

International
student organizations at MSU provide
exciting opportunities to participate in cultural programming
throughout the year.
There are 17 international student organizations
representing Germany, China, Korea, India, Sri-Lanka, Thailand,
Taiwan, Turkey, African, Japan, Iran, Indonesia, and Pakistan, as
well as Hispanic and Muslim students.
International
Services:
The International
Services staff assists the international student community in
dealing with regulatory compliance obligations with both the
federal government and Mississippi State University. It also
conducts international student Orientation and tax workshops, and
provides immigrations counseling for current students.
